Janick Van Daele

Janick Van Daele is currently serving as the Senior Counsel for Privacy, AI & Data Responsibility at Mastercard, where they also hold a position focused on Privacy and Data Protection, Identity Solutions. They previously worked as an Associate at CMS and held various roles, including Counsel at Mastercard and Junior Associate at Verhaegen Walravens. Janick gained foundational experience through internships and associate positions, including time at PwC Legal Belgium and Crivits & Persyn advocaten. They are an IAPP Fellow of Information Privacy and hold certifications in Privacy (CIPT) and U.S. privacy laws (CIPP/US). Janick is pursuing a Master of Laws in Advanced Master in Privacy Cybersecurity and Data Management at Maastricht University.
