Kate Karn

Kate Karn is a seasoned professional in public policy and social impact, currently serving as the Director of Public Policy at Mastercard Canada. With a background in Regulatory Affairs from JTI, Kate played key roles in government relations, policy analysis, and communications. Over a decade at Mastercard, they have been pivotal in developing public affairs programs and leading the Mastercard Changeworks™ initiative to support not-for-profits and entrepreneurs. Kate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs and Policy Management from Carleton University and a Master’s in International Public Policy from the Balsillie School of International Affairs.
