Martin Hyde is an experienced payments and banking leader currently serving as the SVP of Business Development & Partnerships for Real Time Payments at Mastercard since 2025. Previously, Martin led payment partnerships for J.P. Morgan throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and held a range of roles at Barclays, where significant achievements included launching innovative lending products and spearheading the green banking initiative. Martin began their career at HSBC, progressing through various roles in banking products and digital solutions. They hold a BA in Medieval & Modern History from The University of Birmingham and a BSc in Financial Management and Markets from The University of Manchester.
