Nesma Agha is currently the Director and Senior Legal Counsel for the Middle East and Africa at Mastercard. Previously, they served as Senior Legal Counsel at AMERELLER and held the position of Senior Legal Managing Counsel at ADES - Advanced Energy Systems from 2018 to 2021. Nesma has experience as Corporate Legal Counsel at CIB Egypt, where they negotiated and drafted complex banking and commercial agreements from 2015 to 2018. They also worked as a Legal Advisor at AMERA, advocating for the rights of refugees in Egypt, and contributed as an Assistant Lecturer in Business Law at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology from 2014 to 2015. Nesma earned an LLM in Law from Alexandria University and a diploma in International Commercial Arbitration from Pace University.
