Oran Cummins

Oran Cummins is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the payments industry, currently serving as Executive Vice President of Open Banking at Mastercard since December 2010. Cummins has held various leadership roles at Mastercard, including EVP of API & Open Banking Tech, EVP of API, and Senior Vice President of API, where responsibilities included overseeing Mastercard's global API initiatives and relaunching the API platform. Previous positions include Senior Vice President and Vice President of R&D, where leadership was provided for Mastercard Labs, focusing on innovative payment technologies. Prior to joining Mastercard, Cummins was Head of Engineering at Orbiscom, an acquired company specializing in payment solutions, and held software development roles at Enba and Beacon/Gaiacorp FX Trading. Cummins holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin, awarded in 1997.
