Paul Matthews

Paul Matthews is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience at Mastercard since May 2014, currently serving as Principal Information Security Engineer, Cloud. In this role, Paul leads the development of security strategies and standards for cloud environments. Previous positions at Mastercard include Lead Information Security Engineer and Software Engineer, where Paul provided consultations, integrated security controls, and developed automation processes. Prior to Mastercard, Paul worked as a Web Developer at KYN, a Lead Programmer at the University of North Florida, and completed an internship at Deutsche Bank. Paul also served as an Aviation Electronics Technician in the US Navy. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of North Florida and an Associate of Arts from Florida State College at Jacksonville.
