Ramesh Jayakrishnan

Ramesh Jayakrishnan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in payment strategies and corporate sales. Currently serving as Vice President of New Payment Platforms at Mastercard since February 2016, Ramesh has played a pivotal role in launching several innovative payment initiatives. Prior to this, Ramesh held the position of Senior Manager of Payments Strategy & Infrastructure at TD Canada Trust, where key projects included the launch of Visa Direct, Canada's first international remittance solution. Ramesh's earlier roles include Manager of Money Movement & Marketing at ICICI Bank Canada, where enhancements to online remittance solutions were implemented, and Product Manager at American Express, focusing on airline co-brand card portfolios. Ramesh began a career in corporate sales with The Oberoi Group, managing significant client relationships. Ramesh holds an MBA in Marketing from the International Management Institute, New Delhi, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Delhi University.
