Samrat Raj

Samrat Raj is an experienced professional with over two decades in the financial services industry, currently serving as Vice President of Partnerships & Strategic Projects at Mastercard since August 2010. Raj has successfully launched significant partner programs and strategic initiatives, including the MasterCard Send Partnerships program and the Civic Assist product. Previously held roles include Country Manager for Bahrain, where Raj was responsible for P&L and revenue growth, and Regional Lead for Loyalty/Insurance/ Cardholder Benefits for APMEA. Prior to Mastercard, Raj worked as Head of Card Products at National Bank of Oman and held various positions at Citibank India and HSBC. Raj holds an MBA in Marketing from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research and a BE in Electronics and Telecommunication from M.G.M's Jawaharlal Nehru College of Engineering.
