Sofia Abondano

Sofia Abondano currently serves as a Consultant in Strategy & Transformation at Mastercard, starting in June 2025. Prior to this role, Sofia held multiple positions at Instiglio, including Project Associate, Project Analyst, and Project Intern from January 2022 to June 2025. Additional experience includes working as a Research Assistant at Universidad de Los Andes from June 2021 to January 2022, a Research Study Assistant at Planisphera Sustentabilidad A.C. from April 2021 to January 2022, and an Intern at Fedesarrollo from January 2020 to July 2020. Sofia Abondano earned a Master’s degree in Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes, along with a Minor in Government from the same institution. Sofia is currently pursuing studies in Political Economy at EM Strasbourg Business School, having graduated from Marymount School with a High School Diploma.
