Subhashini Chandran

Subhashini (Shuba) Chandran serves as the Senior Vice President for Social Impact in the Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions at Mastercard, where responsibilities include leading the philanthropic arm's inclusive growth initiatives and aligning decision-making with Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) targets. Prior to this role, Subhashini held the position of Vice President and Head of Social Impact for Africa & Asia at Yara International, where a social impact strategy was crafted to uplift local economies. With experience as Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Xynteo, Subhashini emphasized sustainability and social collaboration across India, generating significant economic opportunities. Earlier roles include Principal Adviser at IMC Worldwide, CEO/MD of Blue Green Ventures, and adjunct professor at XLRI Xavier School of Management. Subhashini’s educational background includes degrees from prestigious institutions such as Stanford University, the London School of Economics, and Harvard Kennedy School, among others.
