Thomas Tan

Thomas Tan is currently the Vice President of Security Solutions at MasterCard, where they oversee product and project management for EMV contact and contactless payment and authentication solutions. They have extensive experience in business development and product marketing, having worked at companies such as Renesas and Hitachi Asia Ltd., focusing on smart card chips and semiconductors in the Southeast Asia region. Tan previously held roles at MasterCard as VP of Global Products and Solutions and VP of Emerging Payments, managing the introduction of innovative payment products. They earned a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with Upper 2nd Class Honours from Queen's University in Kingston, Canada.
