Jaime Alejandro Serna

Jaime Alejandro Serna has a diverse work experience that spans several positions and companies. Jaime Alejandro started their career as a Production Assistant at Rock Paper Scissors LLC in 2013 before moving on to become a Junior Assistant, where they composed and maintained talent reels for A52, Elastic, and RPS. Jaime then became an Assistant Editor, optimizing the post-production workflow and managing the company's website.

In 2016, Jaime founded their own company, Jaime Serna Content Creation, LLC, where they focused on new media research and development. Jaime Alejandro provided creative consulting services for brands and influencers, helping them capture and monetize their value.

Jaime joined MasterClass in 2018 as an Assistant Video Editor in the Class Creation and Content team, providing technical support to the lead editor and collaborating with various department teams throughout the content creation process. Jaime Alejandro later transitioned to a role as an Assistant Video Editor in the Creative Labs and Performance Marketing Asset Creation team. In this position, Jaime drove projects forward by performing editor duties and also had the ability to work on project management, VFX, beauty work, color, and motion graphics.

Most recently, Jaime became a Video Editor at MasterClass in 2022. In addition to their editing responsibilities, they created a pitch deck that compiled research on existing crypto platforms/projects and their potential use cases for MasterClass.

Through their work experiences, Jaime has demonstrated their skills in video editing, project management, technical support, creative consulting, and new media research and development.

Jaime Alejandro Serna obtained a Bachelor's degree in Film & Media from UC Santa Barbara, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Santa Margarita Catholic High School from 2007 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Jaime has obtained several certifications through LinkedIn. These certifications cover a range of topics such as NFTs, real estate investing, patent understanding, and various video editing techniques. The certifications were obtained between 2020 and 2021.
