José Ignacio Varela

José Ignacio Varela has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. José Ignacio started their career at IBM in 2014 as a Software Tester. José Ignacio then moved on to Rootstrap, where they held multiple roles. From December 2014 to August 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer. José Ignacio was then promoted to Senior Software Engineer and held this position from September 2017 to July 2019. Currently, José Ignacio Varela is serving as an Engineering Lead at Rootstrap, a position they have held since August 2019. In addition to their work at Rootstrap, they also worked as a Software Engineer at MasterClass starting from August 2018.

José Ignacio Varela obtained their Engineer's Degree in Computer Engineering from the Universidad de la República. José Ignacio enrolled in the university in 2006 and completed their studies in 2015.
