Allan Tribe

Principal Engineer at MasterControl

Allan Tribe has extensive work experience in various fields. Allan started their career in 2004 as a Warehouse Worker at Brigham Young University, where they prepared and delivered orders. Allan then worked as a Warehouse Supervisor at Emergency Essentials, Inc., overseeing a team of employees in warehouse operations.

In 2006, Tribe became a Designer I at Cambric Corporation before transitioning to a Junior Engineering role at US Synthetic in 2007.

From 2009 to 2012, Tribe worked as a Research Assistant at BYU Friction Stir Welding Lab, where they conducted experiments and published a thesis in the Journal of Engineering Fracture Mechanics.

Tribe then joined GE Oil & Gas in 2012 as an Engineer/Technologist, implementing process improvements that significantly reduced inventory and work in progress.

Allan later moved to National Oilwell Varco in 2013, where they held various positions, including Mechanical Design Engineer II and Data Analysis & Automation Engineer. In the latter role, they developed a central MySQL database and utilized R for system version comparison metrics.

Since 2016, Tribe has been with MasterControl, where they have held positions such as Software Engineer III, Software Engineering Manager, and currently serves as a Principal Engineer.

Allan Tribe completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University, from 2004 to 2009. Allan went on to pursue a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university, graduating between 2009 and 2012.
