Deyan Bektchiev

Deyan Bektchiev has a strong background in cloud architecture and software development. Deyan currently holds the role of Principal Cloud Architect at MasterControl, where they are responsible for designing and implementing cloud deployments. Previously, they worked at Open Raven as a Principal Architect, creating architectural solutions for the company's products. Deyan also served as a Principal Architect at DawnLight, contributing to the architecture of their systems.

Before joining MasterControl, Deyan was the Chief Architect at HDS Global, where they played a crucial role in defining the software architecture for various platforms and making strategic decisions. Prior to that, they worked at Venafi as a Senior Cloud Architect, responsible for architecting and leading cloud-based projects. Additionally, they served as a Lead Software Engineer at Medallia, where they led the architecture for key product components.

Earlier in their career, Deyan held positions such as Chief Enterprise Architect at Misys and Thomson Reuters. Throughout their career, they have showcased their expertise in designing scalable and high-performance systems. Prior to entering the industry, they gained experience as a Systems Administrator at Sofia University.

Deyan Bektchiev obtained a MSc degree in Physics from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski between 1994 and 2000. Prior to that, they pursued a Technical degree in Computer Science at UKTC from 1989 to 1994.
