Jeremy Plante

Jeremy Plante has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jeremy is currently employed at Masterpiece Studio since 2017, where they have held various roles including Product Manager, Director Of Operations, Project Manager, and Communications and Marketing Lead. Prior to this, they worked as a Communications & Fundraising Officer at Ottawa Valley Wild Bird Care Centre in 2016. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Freelance Journalist at Dovercourt Editorials, attending and writing articles for science conferences. Jeremy also worked as a Videographer at Stowe Engineering from 2015 to 2016. In 2012, Jeremy worked as an Assistant Language Teacher with JET Programme Canada, teaching English in Japan. Jeremy also has experience as a Director, Editor, Sound, and DOP with Indefinite Project from 2011 to 2012. Additionally, Jeremy worked as an Environmental Officer at Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada from 2006 to 2012, where they were involved in the management of contaminated sites and prepared various reports and media responses.

Jeremy Plante attended the University of Ottawa from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Environmental Science. Jeremy then pursued a diploma in Documentary Production at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from 2011 to 2012. Later, Jeremy enrolled at the same institution from 2015 to 2017 to study Journalism, without completing a degree. Additionally, in November 2013, they obtained certification in Wildlife Rehabilitation from The International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council (IWRC).
