Phil Kassen

Phil Kassen is an experienced educational leader with a long-standing career in various roles, including Director and Middle School Principal at LREI since 1985. In addition to serving as a member of the Board of Trustees for The Masters School and NYSAIS, Kassen has been involved with the NYSAIS Commission on Accreditation and served on the Board of Directors for The GO Project. Kassen also contributed to Rodeph Shalom School as a Board of Trustees member from 2017 to 2023. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Oberlin College.
