MASTERS SCHOOL
Selas Douglas serves as the Associate Head for Inclusive Excellence and History and Religion Faculty at The Masters School, where responsibilities include designing and implementing curricula focused on Africana Critical Thought, United States History, and World History. As Dean for Inclusive Excellence, Selas Douglas leads initiatives to promote inclusivity and social justice within the school community and collaborates on various professional development and strategic planning efforts. Previously, Selas Douglas held notable roles at Mercersburg Academy as Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and at Sandy Spring Friends School, overseeing the residential program while fostering inclusive practices. Additional experience includes positions at Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School, Georgetown Preparatory School, and freelance writing in culture and education, complemented by a Master's degree in Philosophy/Classics from St. John's College and a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Old Dominion University.
