Alexis Santos

Alexis Santos is an experienced educator specializing in early childhood and special education, currently serving as a Special Education Teacher and Case Manager at Mastery Charter Schools since December 2015. In addition to this role, Alexis has been a student teacher at Gen. George A. McCall School since August 2015, where lessons for a diverse kindergarten class were created and taught, fostering positive relationships with students and faculty. Prior experience includes working as a Camp Counselor at Northern Liberties Recreation Center, engaging with children ages 5-7, and serving as an AmeriCorps member with Jumpstart to prepare pre-kindergarten students in low-income neighborhoods for academic success. Alexis holds a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Special Education from Temple University, completed in 2015.
