Katherine Anderson

Katherine Anderson is an experienced School Social Worker with a strong background in supporting students, staff, and families during transitions to charter school education, currently working at Mastery Charter Schools since August 2016. Prior roles include serving as a School Social Worker at Scholar Academies from August 2013 to June 2016 and gaining experience as a Social Work Intern at Communities In Schools of Philadelphia and Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. Additionally, Katherine has worked as an Income Maintenance Caseworker for the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare and as a Foster Care Social Worker at the Juvenile Justice Center of Philadelphia. Katherine holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) in Clinical Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State University.
