Randy Silang

Senior Director Of Strategic Initiatives at Mastery Schools

Randy Silang has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Randy began their career as a Jr. Manufacturing Engineer at L-3 Communications, where they supported continuous improvement efforts. Randy then joined City Year as an AmeriCorps Corps Member, volunteering full-time at a Harlem elementary school. Following this, Randy worked at ICG Commerce (now Accenture) as a Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Operations Consultant, managing projects for Fortune 500 clients. Randy then joined the Obama for America campaign as a Field Organizer, leading a field campaign and managing a large team. Randy also interned at the Obama-Biden Presidential Transition Team, contributing to policy and research. Randy later joined the Friends of Barbara Boxer campaign as a Political Staff member, pursuing endorsements and managing grassroots events. Randy co-founded Roadify, a technology start-up that won the 2010 NYC BigApps Competition, where they played a key role in business planning and operations. Randy then transitioned to Deloitte Consulting as a Manager, leading teams in delivering management consulting services to federal government clients. Currently, Randy is the Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives at Mastery Charter Schools.

Randy Silang completed their Master of Education in Educational Leadership from The Broad Center, which is now known as Yale School of Management, from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University. There is no information available regarding their Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Southern California.
