Toniko Roche

Toniko Roche has a diverse and extensive background in education and design, currently serving as Art Director, Instructional Coach, and Master Art Instructor for K-6 at Mastery Charter Schools since August 2016, alongside roles as a Summer Academy Instructor in literacy and art. Previous experience includes leadership as a Professional Learning Community Leader at LocoRobo and various teaching and instructional roles at Charter High School for Architecture + Design from 2009 to 2016, where responsibilities included coordinating summer credit completion programs and serving as an architecture and design studio instructor. Additional roles include teaching positions at the University of the Arts, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and graphic design work at the Africana Research Center at Penn State. Educational qualifications include a Master in Teaching Visual Art from the University of the Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture Studies from Penn State University. Additional studies occurred at the Pantheon Institute in Rome, Cornell University, and Lehigh University, reflecting a strong foundation in architectural and design education.
