Ricky Cheung

Ricky Cheung has over 25 years of work experience in the technology industry. From 1995 to 2021, they have held positions at Discreet Logic, Profilium, Autodesk, Xtranormal, Freelance Consultant, Avid Technology, Wondershare Technology, and MASV.

From 1995 to 1997, they were a QA Tester at Discreet Logic. Ricky then moved to Profilium as a Product Designer from 2000 to 2003. Ricky then returned to Discreet Logic, now acquired by Autodesk, as a Software Trainer from 1997 to 2003.

At Autodesk, they held the position of Product Marketing Technical Specialist from 2006 to 2008. Ricky then moved to Xtranormal as an Application Designer/Product Manager from 2008 to 2011.

From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Freelance Consultant as a Product Marketing Specialist. Ricky then moved to Avid Technology as a Senior Product Designer/Product Manager and Technical Account Manager (Consultant) from 2013 to 2016.

From 2016 to 2021, they were a Senior Product Manager at Wondershare Technology, where they determined product strategy, feature definitions, and roadmap, and managed joint projects with overseas partnerships.

Currently, they are a Senior Product Manager at MASV.

Ricky Cheung has attended three educational institutions: Vancouver Film School, Emily Carr University of Art and Design, and The University of British Columbia. In addition, they obtained a Practical Product Management certification from Pragmatic Marketing in 2007.
