Joshua Passauer is an accomplished drilling engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, primarily at Matador Resources Company since January 2012, where roles have included Senior Vice President of Drilling and Vice President of Drilling. With expertise in high-pressure environments like the Wolfcamp and 2nd Bone Springs Sand, Joshua has successfully led drilling procurement initiatives and implemented innovative technologies, enhancing drilling efficiency and safety. Prior experience includes positions at Smith Bits and Smith International, where Joshua focused on drilling optimization and collaboration with engineering teams across various shale and conventional plays. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from Baylor University.
