Terri Cox

Terri leads accreditation, legal and regulatory compliance operations for the Matagorda County Hospital District.

Terri has over 35 years of experience in healthcare administration and management and has successfully led her organizations through multiple Joint Commission and CMS surveys.

Before joining the hospital district in 1988, Terri served as the Director of Health Information Management at Memorial Medical Center in Port Lavaca, Texas.

Terri earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She is certified in health compliance (CHC) and is a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) with the American Health Information Management Association.
