Matthew Philpot

Matthew Philpot is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mobile application development and management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager for Android at Match Group since July 2020, Matthew has led significant modernization efforts in code architecture and collaborated closely with product teams to streamline project execution. Previously, as Development Team Lead at Linux Academy, Matthew developed critical authentication systems and established project management tools. At Apptricity Corporation, Matthew managed a six-member team to innovate iOS and Android applications and created a flexible coding framework. Matthew's career began as a Software Developer at Interface People, LP, where Matthew contributed to the development of a comprehensive integration engine. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of North Texas.
