Liza Leonard

Head Chef and Recipe Developer at Matchaful

Liza Leonard has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Liza began as an Editor for The Tufts Observer in 2014, and then became a Seminar Leader for the Tufts Experimental College in 2016. In the same year, they also began working as a Yoga Instructor for Tufts Student Resources. In 2017, they took on multiple roles, including Vegan Chef for Rayén Vegano, Shift Lead for Mother Juice, and English Language Teacher for UCETAM (Unión de Cooperativas de Enseñanza de Trabajo Asociado de Madrid). In 2018, Liza began working as a Line Cook at abcV for JEAN-GEORGES MANAGEMENT and as a Yoga Instructor and Work Study Student for Daya Yoga. Finally, in 2019, they became Head Chef and Recipe Developer for Matchaful and a Yoga Instructor for Green Fitness Studio.

Liza Leonard attended Tufts University from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature, General. In 2014, they participated in the Tufts in Talloires program, studying Environmental Economics and Community Health. In 2016, they obtained their Yoga Alliance 200 hour certified Yoga Instructor certification from Open Doors Yoga, through their Yoga Teacher Training/Yoga Therapy program. Liza also holds a Yoga Alliance 200 hour Teacher Training certification.
