Petro Gallo

Petro was born in Aguas Callientes, Mexico. He came to the U.S. and started his wine career at R.H. Phillips in 1992, working on the bottling line, in the cellar, and in the warehouse shipping and receiving. He joined Matchbook/Crew Wine Company in 2008 when the Zamora winery was brand new. Petro says he enjoys the physical and mental aspects of cellar work and the fact that he gets to be outdoors all day. Petro is reliable, consistent, dependable, sets the bar high for the cellar crew.
