Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions. Since July 2010, Chris has been with SMART Technologies, initially as a firmware engineer and currently as an electrical engineer, focusing on hardware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and other educational technologies. Prior experience includes working as an electronics contractor at the Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris designed and repaired educational devices, and as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, developing control systems for the forestry industry's harvester units. Chris also served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, contributing to labs and examinations for electronic circuits courses. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
