Roman Apostol

Roman Apostol is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience in the technology and education sectors. As the CEO and co-founder of Mate Academy since April 2018, and co-founder of Huntd since October 2020, Roman has demonstrated a commitment to innovation and growth. Prior experience includes a leadership role as Team Lead at Google from October 2013 to March 2018, and co-founding Preply.com where Roman served as Product Owner from January 2012 to April 2013. Earlier career highlights include working as a Software Developer at TopCoder from 2007 to November 2011. Roman holds a Master's degree in Applied Math from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, earned between 2005 and 2011, along with studies at UPML from 2003 to 2004.
