Alan Hsieh is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in product design and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Product Design Engineer at Mate Precision Technologies since April 2022, Alan Hsieh specializes in researching market needs and designing mechanical assemblies that meet various constraints. Prior to this role, Alan Hsieh worked as a Product Launch Engineer at Tennant Company, overseeing the manufacturability of metal fabricated components. Alan Hsieh’s career began at Caterpillar Inc., where responsibilities included leading design efforts for cold planer conveyor systems and large wheel loaders, conducting finite element analyses, and managing cross-functional teams. Alan Hsieh earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University in 2004.
