Brenda Byrne has extensive work experience in medical physics, starting as a Basic Grade Physicist in Mater Misericordiae University Hospital in 2000 and progressing to roles such as Senior Medical Physicist and Principal Physicist. Brenda also holds the role of UCD Assistant Clinical Professor at University College Dublin since 2020. Additionally, Brenda has taken on leadership positions at the European Federation Of Organizations For Medical Physics (EFOMP), including roles as Chair of the Professional Matters Committee Elect and Secretary General.
Brenda Byrne completed a Bachelor's degree in Experimental Physics at Trinity College, Dublin from 1996 to 2000. Brenda then pursued a Master's degree in Physical Sciences in Medicine at Trinity College Dublin from 2000 to 2002.
