Dan Carroll

Dan Carroll is a VMO at Townsville Paediatric Surgery and an Associate Professor in Paediatric Surgery at James Cook University, where they continue to contribute to medical education and practice. They have served as the Principal Medical Education Officer at Mater Hospital Townsville since 2024. With extensive experience in paediatric surgery, Dan has held positions such as Senior Lecturer at The Townsville Hospital and Director of Paediatric Surgery. They have also been selected as a candidate for Katter's Australian Party for the upcoming state elections in 2024. Dan’s academic foundation includes degrees from Oxford University, where they excelled in medicine and paediatric surgery.
