Hugo Lime

Hugo Lime has a diverse range of work experience in various companies and roles. Hugo is currently the Head of Data at Matera, starting in January 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Sicara for two years, from November 2019 to December 2020, first as the VP of Data Engineering and then as the Lead AI Engineer. Before Sicara, Hugo worked at Theodo as a Web and Mobile Developer from April 2017 to December 2018. Hugo also has experience as a Master Thesis Intern at Sequans Communications, where they designed and optimized new algorithms for wireless communications. Additionally, Hugo had a research and development internship at STMicroelectronics, where they worked on indoor positioning algorithms for wireless sensor networks. Their earliest work experience was as a research and development intern at Airbus Group Innovations.

Hugo Lime completed their Engineer's degree in Electronics Engineering and Computer Science from École Polytechnique between 2012 and 2015. Hugo then pursued a Double Degree in Wireless Systems at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2016. Prior to these degrees, Hugo attended Lycée du Parc from 2010 to 2012, focusing on Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Sciences.

In addition to their formal education, Hugo Lime obtained several certifications. In January 2019, they completed the Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera. In August 2018, they earned a certification in Machine Learning, also from Coursera. Furthermore, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2020. Most recently, in March 2021, Hugo acquired an Astronomer Certification for Apache Airflow Fundamentals from Astronomer.
