Simon McElvogue

Simon McElvogue is currently working as an AD Site Manager at MATERIAL CHANGE LIMITED, where Simon manages a Gas to grid AD plant in Suffolk. Previously, Simon worked at British Sugar for 5 years as an Anaerobic digestion technician, where Simon carried out inspections on the plant, maintained digesters, controlled foam oils, and managed pulp feed amounts to maximize gas production. Simon also has experience as a combustion Technician, running and maintaining gas turbines/steam turbines and ensuring water quality in the Reverse Osmosis plant. With a background as a Power Plant Operator at Energy Power Resources Limited, Simon is well-versed in plant operations. Simon holds various qualifications in energy recovery operations, managing plant operations, and safety management.
