Derek Welbeck

Derek Welbeck is a skilled content specialist with extensive experience in content creation, marketing, and communication. Since September 2021, Derek has been contributing to Materialise as a Content Specialist. Prior to this role, Derek served as the Engagement & Communication Manager at the European Medicines Verification Organisation from May 2020 to April 2021, and as a Senior Content Editor at Sony from January 2015 to April 2020. Earlier in Derek's career, project management and Marcom writing were key responsibilities at Pyramidion from May 2011 to December 2014. Additionally, Derek gained initial marketing experience as a Marketing Assistant intern at Metro International in 2009. Derek holds a 2.1 degree in English from Queen Mary University of London, completed between 2005 and 2008.
