Inge Famaey

Inge Famaey has extensive experience in the medical device field, currently serving as Technical Innovation Manager at Materialise since August 2012. Inge has led an incubator project to bring innovative medical devices from concept to market and has held various roles, including Medical Device R&D Manager, overseeing international teams and establishing new disciplines within the Materialise Medical unit, and Medical Device Development Manager, focusing on team strategy, objective setting, and compliance with design control procedures. Inge began the career as a Product Development Engineer, specializing in personalized 3D printed orthopedic solutions and advanced to Senior Product Development Engineer with responsibilities for complex product development. Inge holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from KU Leuven, a degree in Musculoskeletal Biomechanics from ParisTech, and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical-Electrical Engineering.
