Karla Lucic

Karla Lucic is currently a GenAI research engineer at Materialise and a first-year master's student in Data Science at KU Leuven. They obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computing from FER in Zagreb, where they transitioned from pure computer science to machine learning and deep learning applications. Karla has organized significant initiatives, including scaling an algorithmic trading hackathon and managing a large engineering student organization, while also securing major sponsorships for various projects. They have a strong technical background in Python, deep learning, and statistical modeling, and possess multilingual capabilities in Croatian, English, and German.
