Petros Angelatos

Petros Angelatos is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and team management. Currently serving as a Member Of Technical Staff at Materialize since January 2021, Petros has previously held the roles of Founder and CTO at balena from February 2012 to October 2020, where leadership was demonstrated by managing a 50-member remote engineering team, overseeing product architecture, and scaling infrastructure. Prior to balena, Petros co-founded Kamibu, contributing to the development of a browser-based MMORPG and a WebGL game engine, and worked as a Software Engineer at Zino, a Greek social network. Petros holds a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, obtained between 2008 and 2018.
