William Bishop has extensive experience in the metallurgy and engineering sectors, particularly within the oil, gas, and energy markets. Currently serving as the Global Market Manager at Materion Corporation since January 2019, William previously held various roles at the same company from 1997 to 2018, including Global Market & Strategic Account Manager and Commercial Director of Custom Engineered Products. Prior experience includes leadership positions such as President at Ampco Metal and Director of Foundry Operations at MetalTek International. William’s career began as a Metallurgical Engineer, first at Ampco Metal and later at Outokumpu. William holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
