Catherine Searle

Catherine Searle is an experienced leader in the field of maternal and child health, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at the Maternal, Adolescent & Child Health Institute (MatCH) since January 2020, after holding the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Prior to this, Catherine contributed to MatCH as Deputy Executive Director from January 2015 to December 2019 and as Operations Director from December 2007 to December 2015. Catherine's background also includes roles as Senior Program Officer at Pact (2006-2008) and Program Manager at the Population Council (2001-2006). Catherine holds a Master's degree in Sociology from the University of the Witwatersrand and a BSocSc (Hons) from the University of Cape Town.
