Marianne A. Fray, MBA, CAE, IOM has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Marianne A. currently serves as the President and CEO of Maternity Care Coalition, where they lead the day-to-day operations and provides vision and direction to the Executive Team. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of External Affairs at the same organization, where they were responsible for new business development, fund development, marketing, public policy, and government relations.
Before joining Maternity Care Coalition, Marianne worked at the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association as the Senior Director and Head of Global Corporate Development. In this role, they directed all association corporate-related activities and headed the corporate partner and enterprise sponsorship programs. Marianne A. also developed and implemented the organization's corporate growth strategy.
Marianne also has experience working at the Project Management Institute, where they served as an Organization Relations Specialist. In this position, they built and maintained strategic relationships with Fortune 100 and major Government organizations worldwide, promoting the value of Project Management and PMI at the executive level. Marianne A. also led key strategic initiatives and managed the Global Corporate Council Program.
Prior to that, Marianne worked as a Senior Consultant at Lee Hecht Harrison, managing all phases of the outplacement process for various companies across the United States. Marianne A. facilitated group workshops and conducted private coaching sessions with executive and middle management clients.
Marianne started their career at Verizon Wireless, where they held various roles such as Marketing Consultant, District Store Manager, and Store Manager. Marianne A. was involved in marketing and managing the retail stores.
Marianne A. also worked as an Office Supervisor at G. Schirmer, where they gained early experience in office management.
Throughout their career, Marianne has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and expertise in corporate development, external affairs, and building strategic partnerships.
Marianne A. Fray, MBA, CAE, IOM, has a strong education background in business administration, English literature, and college preparation. Marianne A. obtained their MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Saint Joseph's University - Erivan K. Haub School of Business between 1998 and 2000. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature at Bryn Mawr College from 1979 to 1982. Marianne A. Fray also holds a High School Diploma in College Prep, which they obtained from The Shipley School between 1973 and 1977.
In addition to their formal education, Marianne A. Fray has earned certifications to enhance their professional expertise. Marianne A. obtained the designation of Certified Association Executive from The Certified Association Executive Commission of The American Society of Association Executives in January 2011. Furthermore, they have a certification as a Certified Associate in Project Management from the Project Management Institute, which they earned in September 2006.

Since 1980, Maternity Care Coalition has assisted more than 145,000 families throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania, focusing particularly on neighborhoods with high rates of poverty, infant mortality, health disparities, and changing immigration patterns. We know a family’s needs change as they go through the pregnancy and their child’s first years and we offer a range of services and programs for every step along the way.
