Athina Chalkidou

Athina Chalkidou is a proficient Programme Support Coordinator at the Maternity Foundation since June 2024 and an Associate Researcher at Herlev og Gentofte Hospital, where project deliverables for EU-funded antimicrobial stewardship initiatives are coordinated. Chalkidou also holds a position as Associate Researcher at the University of Copenhagen, effectively coordinating the development of patient communication tools and executing a Delphi consensus study across multiple EU countries. With previous experience as a Board Member and Secretary General at Globale Læger, responsibility for organizational strategy and compliance was maintained, while earlier roles included project assistance at Novo Nordisk and advocacy volunteering at WoMena. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Global Health from the University of Copenhagen and a Master's degree in Public Health from Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College.
