Math for America
Brittany Beck is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in student activities, science instruction, and curriculum development. Currently serving as the Coordinator of Student Activities at the NYC Department of Education, Brittany plans and manages large-scale events while advising student organizations and overseeing the school store. With a background as a high school teacher in AP Biology and Health, Brittany has also contributed as a teacher leader with New Visions for Public Schools and a fellow with Math for America, emphasizing professional development and community engagement. Additional roles include hosting virtual events and participating in the Decision Education Teacher Fellowship, showcasing a commitment to innovative teaching practices. Brittany holds a Master’s in Science Education and is pursuing a Master in Public Affairs at Indiana University Bloomington.
