Math for America
Claryliz Peralta is a dedicated educational professional with extensive experience in teaching, curriculum development, and leadership. Currently serving as a Math for America Master Teacher since September 2019, Claryliz facilitates workshops for master teachers in New York City to enhance pedagogical practices. As a Curriculum Designer, Educator, Manager, and Assistant Department Head at KIPP NYC since July 2016, Claryliz developed personalized action plans and conducted assessments to ensure the successful adoption of instructional practices. In addition, Claryliz contributed as an AP Biology Curriculum Writer for the KIPP Foundation from June 2020 to June 2021, where a comprehensive curriculum was crafted and workshops facilitated for implementation in the classroom. Previous experience includes serving as a Biology and Social Justice Educator at Uncommon Schools from July 2014 to June 2016. Claryliz holds a Master of Education from Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Columbia University.
