Math for America
Erica T. is an experienced educator and curriculum developer with a strong background in science instruction and educational leadership. Currently serving as a Master Teacher Fellow at Math for America and a Science Curriculum Instructional Coach at Forte Preparatory Academy Charter School, Erica focuses on enhancing science education for secondary students. Prior experience includes teaching roles at Harlem Village Academies and the NYC Department of Education, where Erica led the development of a project-based science curriculum. A former curriculum writer and consultant, Erica has contributed to academic enrichment organizations with a focus on environmental science and health. Prior to entering education, Erica practiced law at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP, representing clients in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Erica holds a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, a Master's in Secondary Education from Pace University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Society from Cornell University.
