Math for America
Jamie Kubiak is an experienced educator who has been serving as a Chemistry Teacher for the NYC Department of Education since August 2014, instructing 11th-grade students and emphasizing self-assessment and student-centered learning. Jamie designs curriculum maps to enhance laboratory skills and provides regular communication with students and parents through JupiterGrades. Jamie advises the National Honor Society and participates in the Professional Learning Committee, focusing on staff development and inclusive educational practices. Additionally, Jamie is a Master Teacher and Early Career Teaching Fellow with Math for America, and has contributed as an appraiser for Destination Imagination, an edTPA scorer for Pearson, and a Master's Defense Coach at Relay Graduate School of Education. Jamie holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Michigan State University.
