Jeff Hamilton

Jeff Hamilton serves as a Professional Learning Specialist at Math for America, where notable achievements include overseeing cross-functional teams to enhance mathematical language accessibility and instructing teachers in interactive content strategies. In addition, Jeff acts as a mentor for incoming fellows and has received a substantial fellowship award for pursuing a master's degree in mathematics education. As a Project Manager with the NYC Department of Education, Jeff has successfully led large-scale initiatives to enhance student engagement and implemented an impactful wellness program for 9th graders. Previously, as a Mathematics Teacher, Jeff improved pass rates significantly among special needs and multi-language learners while securing funding for educational resources. Jeff holds a Master’s degree in Secondary Education: Mathematics from The City College of New York and a B.S. in Mathematics from Penn State University.
