John Garrett Stevens

John Garrett Stevens is an experienced educator currently serving as the Founding Living Environment Teacher at Creo College Preparatory Charter School since August 2022. In addition, Stevens holds the position of Pedagogical Coach and Teaching Fellow at Giant Machines and is a Master Teacher Fellow in Biology with Math for America, contributing to the advancement of STEM education. Prior roles include leadership and teaching positions at Democracy Prep Public Schools and KIPP NYC, along with experience in special education and mentoring within Teach For America. Stevens holds a Doctor of Education in Instructional Leadership from Hunter College, a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Brooklyn College, and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Alabama.
