Kathryn Litman

Master Teacher at Math for America

Kathryn Litman serves as a Master Teacher at Math for America since September 2017 and is a Peer Collaborative Teacher at Quest To Learn, where contributions include mentoring educators and being a founding faculty member of a pioneering game-based learning public school. Previously, Kathryn was a Facilitator & Consultant at the Institute of Play from September 2014 to June 2017, providing guidance on Human Centered Design and conducting workshops on game utilization in education. Kathryn also served as a Fellow Advisor for NYC Teaching Fellows from June 2008 to August 2009, where training focused on various pedagogical aspects for early career teachers. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in English & American Literature from New York University and a Master of Education in Mathematics Education from The City College of New York.
